Will they shrink after washing?
No. We use heavyweight, pre-shrunk cotton blends specifically to combat the "tall man's curse" of clothes getting shorter after one wash. Our basics are built to maintain their vertical length and structure over time. Wash cold, hang dry for best results.
What's the difference between Box-Fit and a regular tee?
Box-Fit provides a modern, oversized silhouette with extra room in the chest and sleeves. It drapes naturally over the torso rather than clinging to it. Think streetwear-inspired, not tent-shaped. Regular tees are cut closer to the body. Box-Fit gives you room without looking sloppy.
How do these fit compared to other big & tall brands?
Most big & tall brands just scale up a standard pattern. Wider but not proportional. TUSQ basics are cut specifically for larger frames: longer torso, roomier chest and shoulders, sleeves that don't squeeze. Check the size chart before ordering as our sizing may differ from what you're used to.
Can I wear basics over compression?
That's exactly what they're designed for. Compression underneath for support and structure, basics on top for the finish. The Box-Fit Tee and Hoodie layer cleanly over TUSQ compression without adding visible bulk or texture lines. The full stack.
What's the fabric weight like?
Heavyweight. These aren't thin basics you can see through or that lose shape by afternoon. Premium cotton blends with enough weight to hold their structure all day, but breathable enough that you're not overheating. Built to feel substantial, not stiff.
Will the hats fit my head?
Yes. We designed our hats with a deeper crown and adjustable closures specifically for men with larger frames. Standard "one size fits all" hats sit too high and look disproportionate. Ours sit right and stay comfortable.
Are sleeveless tees cut for bigger shoulders?
Yes. The armholes are proportioned for shoulders that actually need room. No riding, no bunching, no cutting in. Clean lines that work from the gym to the street on a bigger build.
How do I pick my size?
Check the size chart on each product page. Our basics are true to size for big and tall builds. If you're between sizes, go with the larger size for a relaxed fit or the smaller size for a more structured look. The Box-Fit is designed to be roomy, so your regular size will give you that oversized silhouette.
How do I care for my basics?
Machine wash cold with like colors. Hang dry to preserve length and shape. Skip the dryer if you can, especially for hoodies. Our fabrics are pre-shrunk, but heat is never a friend to longevity. Rotate pieces if you're wearing them daily.
